Paleo Day 5 - Rosemary, you’re part of me, you know you are, you are, you are…

I love rosemary. It makes everything scrumptious. Simple dinner tonight of chicken pan-fried with olive oil, rosemary, salt & pepper. I think I added a pinch of cayenne too, just for a little heat. Had a little spinach with it as well, but I think spinach is something that’s better IN something than by itself, so I think I’ll stick to incorporating it within recipes from now on.

Had garlic chicken sausage for lunch too - very good (pre-cooked! no worrying about whether it’s done or not!), I warmed it up in the pan I used for bacon this morning with a little coconut oil (have I mentioned how much I love this stuff?)

Haven’t accomplished much more than that today. Tried out a new chainmaille pendant weave called a Celtic Star. I didn’t have quite the right size of rings, but it came out well enough for me to get the basic weave down. I’m starting to get my list together of all the rings I need to buy to get ready for Lancaster Pride in June. I got my paycheck from Cafepress today, so that’ll most likely go toward my ring order. Hurrah for using one side business to pay for the other!

Oh, I almost forgot - I took a box and two bags of all the non-Paleo foods I had in my apartment to work today and stuck a big FREE sign on it. My coworkers were very appreciative and a few asked me what sort of diet I was on. After I explained the basics, they wished me luck on everything, which was nice.

In other news, my cat’s new favorite toy is the bottle of Tylenol she knocked off my desk. It makes such fun noises!
